Each day, ballet dancers rely immensely on their lower legs, ankles and feet. We tend to take for granted how much this area gives us our strength, mobility and security. Everyone does. From the moment you wake up, your feet have your entire body weight to support. Any misalignment, however slight can have a huge affect on the alignment of the major joints, the pelvis, knees and spine and can contribute to compensation injuries, poor posture and other complications.
