Healthy Habit #18: Lift your Lower Abs 

Don't you find it frustrating that when you work endlessly on your abs, the lower part always takes the longest to tone? Course ya do. First of all, they are not easy muscles to connect to. The upper abs tend to take over the work when the core is in action. Weakness is also highlighted when the lower abs push out in an attempt to work. Plan of action? Keep reminding your lower abs to pull in toward the spine, to lift up towards your centre and draw in from the sides. This engages your powerful pelvic floor muscles (In the deeper muscle layers) and also fiercely protects your lower back from harm. All round worth the time and energy.
