Healthy Habit #13: Be kind to your knees.

Knees are complicated little joints. We've only got one pair and we underestimate their importance until they play up. Most people suffer knee pain in their lives and women tend to have more problems than men. Especially if you're active, be aware of your knee alignment. Whenever you're bending, send the knees over the middle toe. Balance out the strength in your legs (the back of the legs tend to be weaker than the front) and make sure you're stretching all the muscle groups of the legs to alleviate any tension which might pull on the knee ligaments. Happy knees = Happy people. To read more about how to keep your knees happy, read this:
